The new Big Local Office in Hasland
We are pleased the new 'The Hub @ the Club' will be opened for community usage, following redevelopment work that offers partitioning of the large hall into a range of spaces to accommodate different groups at affordable rates.

This project has been made possible by the Friends at Hasland Community Hub, a group of local volunteers, developing the existing Hasland WMC over a number of years in collaboration with Grassland Hasmoor Futures and HWMC. The main funder to date has been GHBL using £90k of National Lottery Funding, along with additional funds from Chesterfield Borough Council and Foundation Derbyshire.
Working with CIQA, a Sheffield based social enterprise as part of the Social Enterprise Exchange Transform Programme, we are now pursuing further phases of development including a new kitchen and bar area, enhanced toilet facilities including changing facilities, and a lift to access the upper floor.
We hope this will be a thriving community facility and leave a lasting legacy for present and future generations.
