Celebrating Halloween – GHBL Events in Hasland and Grassmoor
Hasland Event – at Hasland Working Men’s Club
Hasland Working Men’s Club held an extremely successful Halloween event on Thursday 31st October with over 130 guests attending. The decorations in the room looked very effective and drew wows from many of the attendees (thanks to Grassmoor Community Centre for loaning them). The disco was lively and entertaining and the games were played by many enthusiastic participants. With the provision of a delicious buffet and refreshments guests enjoyed a great evening’s entertainment.
Grassmoor Event – at Grassmoor Community Centre
Grassmoor Community Centre held a successful event on Friday 25th October bearing in mind the weather conditions, with 50 guests attending. Overall feedback was good. The event included food and refreshments, disco and activities and games.
A big thank you goes to the volunteers who supported both events and to Grassland Hasmoor Big Local for their support and grant funding.
