Results of Grassland Hasmoor Big Local Amateur Photographic Competition were announced on Tuesday 24^th September at Hasland Working Men’s Club. Competition was fierce and the judges found it extremely difficult to choose the eventual winners.

Prizes were awarded as Love to Shop vouchers as follows: - 1^st prize - £100, 2^nd prize £50, 3^rd prize £25 and overall winner £50

The overall winner chosen by public vote during the evening was The Hidden Sun Forest (Mia Archibald)

1^st prize winner in the junior category was Shaunie Slack for Nature’s Beauty and in the adult category Rob Whitehead with Overgrown Colliery Wheel

Nick Rhodes took 2^nd place in the Adult category with St Paul’s Church Windows Illuminated and Lucas Mason took 2^nd place in the junior category with Fields of Gold. 3^rd prize winners were Mick Arnold in the adult category with Flower Artichoke and Mia Archibald in the junior category for Sunset Discovery.

The event ended with an announcement that the 2020 competition opened immediately with the closing date midnight, 31^st July 2020.
The competition attracted 39 entries and many of them will be included in a GHBL calendar which will be available later this year.
