It has been a wet few weeks but the sun shone on Hasland Gala this year. People from near and far flocked to Eastwood Park to take part in all the event had to offer. There was something for everyone from fun fair rides and inflatables to information stalls, food, refreshments, and prizes to win. Chesterfield's Mayor Councillor Simmons and Mayoress Councillor Caulfield were in attendance and officiated at the ribbon cutting to the new Monkey Bars which have been provided through Grassland Hasmoor Big Local funding. An extremely enjoyable event for all who attended. A big thank-you to Friends of Eastwood Park who work tirelessly each year to organise this event.
