The Christmas Weekend, supported by GHBL, was held over Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd December at Grassmoor Community Centre and was a great success, being well attended by both local residents and those from further afield. Victorian games and Punch and Judy took centre stage on Saturday whilst Sunday’s seasonal Pantomime, Cinderella, was watched by over 50 families. With Santa’s Grotto, food including free mince pies, raffle and prizes there was plenty on offer for all the family to enjoy.
Partnership Chair, Stephen Wright, said “It was wonderful to see the community turn out to support this fun filled weekend and I would like to thank Grassmoor Community Centre, Grassmoor Parish Council and our fabulous GHBL volunteers whose hard work made the whole thing possible.”
