Eastwood Park Gala

Hasland Gala was held in glorious weather with the official opening performed by the Mayor and Mayoress of Chesterfield, Cllr Alexis Diouf and his wife Vicky-Anne, who helped celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Hasland VIllage Hall.

Attractions included a heritage display, Hasland Gala Royalty, fancy dress competition and dog show. There was a fairground, bands, Punch & Judy Show, OzBox, birds of prey, stalls and displays for all ages. Refreshments were on sale throughout the event. Bailey Kennady was crowned Hasland Gala Queen, Shannon Winters as Junior Queen, Lilly Hinksman as Petal, Ellie Hulett as Princess, Amelia Pickering as Personality Princess and Edward Kennady as Pageboy.

MP Toby Perkins attended and spent time visiting many of the stalls and attractions including Grassland Hasmoor... Big Local which was manned by Big Local Representative Dave Brennan,  Stephen Wright Chairman of the Interim Steering Group, Steve Lee NEDDC Strategic Partnership Co-ordinator, Barbara and Philip Arrandale, David Maric, Nigel Combes and Ian Mather, Janey Ray, Mr & Mrs Leverton and Sushri Wells.
